Presentation
Materials for Sustainability
Energy efficiency, industrial productivity, intelligent infrastructure solutions, and affordable and personalized healthcare systems with an overarching emphasis on sustainable solutions are the very focus of Siemens’ businesses. This presentation will outline how we leverage nano and materials technologies to conceive and implement key innovations which enable Siemens to pioneer all these fields. Some representative examples will range from early stage to mature and commercialized, from microsystems to large scale electrical generators, and from niche applications to main stream products. Key success factors like efficient collaboration along the value chain, manageable complexity of collaborative projects, swift response to emerging R&D trends and others will be discussed in the conclusion.
