Dr. Paula Queipo

Dr. Paula Queipo is an International Project Manager at PRODINTEC, Technology Centre for the Industrial Design and Manufacturing, with more than 10 years experience in research and innovation.

She obtained her Ph.D degree in Materials Science and Technology in 2003 from the University of Oviedo (Spain). She has extended her research competences in several European Institutes such as Abo Akademi, VTT and Technical University of Technology (Finland), University of Leeds (UK), and CSIC and University of Oviedo (Spain). Her scientific career has been focused on analytical chemistry, materials science and nanotechnology. She is author of more than 20 scientific publications, including some high impact factor peer-review journals (e.g. Physical Review Letters and Nature Nanotechnology).  Among others, she is currently participating in the FP7 project NANOfutures CSA that supports the activities of this European Platform on nanotechnology.

Open access to infrastructures in support of innovation

An overview of existing infrastructures and access programmes will be provided together with examples on how these are facilitating the innovation process.
