Eco-Design on Energy-using Sectors: Mondragon Corporation's Approach

Apart from the user's behaviour, the complementary way of reducing energy consumed by products is to impose energy efficiency requirements from the early stages of the design phase. The production, distribution, use and end-of-life management of energy-using products is associated with a considerable number of important impacts on the environment, and it is understood in this way by the cooperatives forming MONDRAGON Corporation.
