Dr. Giuseppe Visimberga

Dr. G. Visimberga is since 2010 Programme Manager at M2i (Materials innovation institute) in Delft, the Netherlands. M2i is a Top Technology Institute set up by the Dutch Government to run its ‘Innovation Programme’ on high-tech materials for innovation. He is responsible for M2i’s activities connected to the EU programmes, including co-funded international collaborative projects. Before joining M2i he had been working almost seven years as a scientific researcher in the fields of micro-optoelectronic and photonic nanomaterials at Tyndall National Institute (University College of Cork, Ireland) and at the National Nanotechnology Laboratory (Italian National Council of Scientific Research). ERA-MIN - the newly established ERA-NET on Industrial handling of raw materials for European industries

ERA-MIN is an ERA-NET program on the industrial handling of raw materials for European industries. The objective of the ERA-NET scheme is to develop and strengthen the coordination of national and regional research programmes in the field of industrial production and supply of raw materials throughout Europe. It will cover the area of primary resources, secondary resources (recycling) and new materials and substitutes which use less scarce resources.
