A Report of Nano4water Cluster on Recent Advances in Nanotechnology-based Water Purification Methods
The presentation focuses on current research advances in nanotechnology-based water purification and detoxification methods. The presentation summarises recent results presented at the second Nano4water Cluster Joint Workshop held in Thessaloniki on April 24-25, 2012 (http://nano4water.eu/). In particular, new developments in the following nanotechnology-based purification methods will be reviewed: nanostructured membranes and nano-catalysts, molecularly imprinted materials, nanosorbents, biomimetic membranes and membrane bioreactors (MBR).
